Abstract

En el presente estudio se evaluaron cuatro técnicas hemostáticas para ovariohisterectomía en veinte hembras caninas distribuidas al azar en cuatro grupos de cinco animales cada uno, y se asigno, al azar, una técnica diferente a cada grupo. En cada caso se evaluaron los parámetros hematológicos de eritrocitos, hematocrito, hemoglobina, volumen corpuscular medio, plaquetas y fibrinógeno una hora antes y veinticuatro horas después de la cirugía. | ABSTRACT:Four haemostatic protocols were evaluated for ovariohysterectomy in twenty female dogs. The female dogs were randomly divided in four groups of five animals each and were assigned to one of four different haemostatic protocols. In all the protocols the hematologic parameters of erythrocytes, hematocrit, hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume, platelets and fibrinogen were evaluated one hour before and twenty-four hours after the surgery.
