Resumen
Leptospirosis is a worldwide zoonotic disease that can result in Weil’s disease or pulmonary hemorrhage syndrome. It can also cause economic losses in cattle dependent industries due to abortions and reproductive failure. Adequate control and management of this disease requires subtyping to the serovar level of infecting and environmental isolates. However, although molecular techniques have increased the typing capabilities some serovars remain difficult to tell apart.Impacto
